The hotel offers fine views with large windows in the bungalows. Breakfast featured good, fresh oatmeal along with homemade jams. The beds were quite firm, which affected comfort, and the menu choices were limited, requiring decisions by 5 PM. While the staff was friendly and the ambiance peaceful, improvements in bedding could enhance the stay significantly.

We thoroughly enjoyed the picturesque setting of the lodge, especially taking a dip in one of the inviting red cedar hot tubs. The breakfast was fantastic, and the wildlife views from our patio were an absolute delight with our young baby.
My wife says that the beds could be more comfortable for a family.

Tenorio Lodge offers fine views of the volcano from private, well-designed rooms with floor-to-ceiling glass. The opportunity to see local wildlife, including sloths, shortly after arrival was really good. Breakfast is an event, with an array of fruits to attract various bird species. The dining experience is also amazing, with both breakfast and evening meals being superb and meticulously prepared each day.
